then traded Chinese ports - India - Mauritius; left Cumsingmoon, Pearl River on 17/2/1850, with 450 Chinese Coolies for Callao and Guano Islands. Passed south of Australia and put into Hobart on 13/4/1850, after 194 had died. Medical aid provided until 3/4/1850, departed for Callao where ship was quarantined with only 201 survivors of total complement of 503. Returned to UK via HK, where the Master was relieved but escaped arrest;
