George Edwards arrived in Adelaide with his wife Esther and children on the Moffatt 18/12/1839. My great grandmother Bithia Hepzibah was born in Adelaide after their arrival. George apparently had some involvement in missions to seamen. He was a Primitive Methodist preacher and according to family folklore walking from Islington to Port Adelaide each week to preach.
