Mr. A. POTTS

I think this is my grandfather Albert Potts. He came out ahead of the rest of his family to Adelaide to set up the ICI saltfields works north of Adelaide. He was only supposed to be here 12 months but ICI asked him to stay and the rest of the family came here in 1940 (Hilda, wife, Alan, son and Joan daughter). They never went home to England to live and he never went home to visit. He died quite young at 62 from lung cancer in 1962 when I was only one year old.
