Four drowned. 1883 Mar.28: Refloated & temporarily repaired. 1884: Chartered to Anchor Line, Glasgow for Liverpool-New York service. Then returned to the Australia route. 1900: Troopship for the Boer War. 1902: Broken up at Genoa.

MY GREAT GRANDPARENTS CAME OUT TO HOBART AS FREE SETTLERS IN THE 1800'S FROM SCOTLAND THEIR NAMES BEING ANDREW GRELLIS AND MARTHER GRELLIS ( NEE WALLACE) WITH THEIR CHILDREN, ONE BEING MY GRANDMOTHER ELEANOR GRELLIS ONLY 7 YRS OLD., who later married WALTER GEORGE OAKES COMMISSIONER OF POLICE IN TASMANIA.
