My grandfather, William Baird, arrived in Sydney as an unassisted immigrant aboard SS Suevic on 6 Nov 1910. He was born in Glasgow on 3 Jul 1888.

I believe my great grandmother, Agnes Eliza Bartholomew, and one of her daughters, Jean Bartholomew, were on the SS Suevic travelling from Cape Town to England (Southampton?), when it ran aground on the Stag Rock, a mile from the Lizard Point, on 17th March 1907. I am keen to verify this long-lost piece of family history and would appreciate any help, guidance and information. Many thanks.
