The Church of the Immaculate Conception—popularly known as St. Peary's—is situated in Dale Street, Port Adelaide. The official blessing and opening of the Church took place on August 15th, 1858, although the building had been used as a place of worship for some little time beforehand. Father Francis Coyle had done some missionary work in the Port Adelaide district from 1848, but it wasn't until 1855 that Bishop Murphy was able to secure the present site. From 1858 the Church was looked after from the Bishop's House in West Terrace. https://get-shareit.com https://get-vidmateapk.com reply Your Stories Your name * E-mail * Post your story * Submit Leave this field blank Share this Page Share this master with your friends and followers online.
