Journey Notes

The ship Navarino is the same vessel that arrived here last year, then under command of Captain Storey; she belongs to the same firm as the Aliquis and Constance. Her log records nothing of interest, and reports having easterly winds for three weeks when in the longitude of St.Paul's Island. Captain Rippon was surprised to hear of a lighthouse on Troubridge Shoal as he states it was not sighted when passing during Wednesday night. Register 22/2/1856
