Journey Notes
The Limari, from London, with general merchandise, arrived on Sunday morning, and during the day was visited by the acting Immigration Officer, who passed her passengers, and they were then free to land. The Limari left London on March 25, and the following day took in powder at Gravesend. On the 27th she sailed with a fine west wind, and on the 8th of April took final departure from the land. On May 4, crossed the line in 19° of west longitude with very light trades. After passing the Cape some very violent gales were experienced, with intervals of unsettled weather. On discharging of powder at the North Arm the Captain intends proceeding into harbour. Register 6/7/1874
