Antonio Angelinawich was a crew member of this ship who jumped ship at Port Adelaide and eventually became a Master Mariner owning small ships that operated out of Port Adelaide. He was from Dalmatia, then part of the Austrian Empire where the minority Italian population was being oppressed. The family name was shortened to Angelin and provided many generations of Port Adelaide sea farers.
