Having hove to for 5 days off Guichen Bay, put in to Portland Bay for a week until the 19th, drifted past Encounter Bay & attempted to get into Antechamber Bay, & drifted back past Encounter Bay close to Murray's Beach, & on 13th repiared booms & sails in time to escape going on the lee shore.[Sexton]
